Ratua Private Island Resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of the resort in Vanuatu. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high standards of hospitality, and lead a service-oriented team aligned with international standards.

Resort Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the hospitality industry
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality/Tourism Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related field
• Strong leadership, team management, and guest relations skills
• Knowledge of overall resort operations (front office, housekeeping, F&B, budgeting)
• Experience with booking systems or PMS is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the resort, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services
• Ensure high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction
• Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance
  Lead and motivate teams to maintain a productive and service-oriented work environment
• Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates, revenue, and guest experience
• Coordinate marketing efforts, promotions, and quality control of facilities and services
• Monitor budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Ensure proper use of booking systems and property management systems (PMS)
