INK TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in ink preparation and management for printing operations.
• Knowledge of different types of inks (e.g., offset, flexographic, gravure, digital).
• Ability to mix, match, and prepare inks according to production requirements.
• Basic understanding of color theory, viscosity, and drying times.
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining ink-related equipment and tools.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and adjust inks to meet production specifications and color requirements.
• Monitor ink quality during printing processes and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of ink usage, batches, and formulations.
• Clean and maintain ink storage, tanks, and dispensing equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of inks and related chemicals.
• Collaborate with machine operators and supervisors to troubleshoot ink-related issues.
• Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines while handling inks and chemicals.
