SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience operating sewing machines, preferably in packaging, bookbinding, or textile-related production.
• Skilled in handling different types of fabrics, threads, and sewing machine types.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of sewing equipment.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machines for the assembly of book covers, packaging materials, or related products.
• Measure, cut, and align materials accurately before sewing.
• Monitor stitch quality, tension, and alignment during production.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on sewing machines as needed.
• Ensure finished products meet quality and specification standards.
• Keep production logs and report machine issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, following company safety guidelines.
