Hydraulic Hose Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year working experience in a related field is required.
• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certificate or diploma in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, hose assembly, and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work with hand tools, crimping machines, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and technical details.

Responsibilities:

• Hose Assembly and Fabrication
  • Measure, cut, and crimp hydraulic and industrial hoses based on customer specifications or service orders.
  • Assemble hose fittings and connectors ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
    Ensure fabricated hoses meet required pressure ratings and operational standards.
• Inspection and Diagnosis
  • Inspect damaged or worn hoses and fittings to determine the cause of failure such as wear, abrasion, excessive pressure, or contamination.
  • Identify potential risks or weaknesses in hydraulic systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Service and Repairs
  • Perform hose replacement and repairs either on-site or within the workshop.
  • Safely remove defective hoses and install new or repaired hoses on machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct testing of hydraulic systems after installation to ensure proper performance.
• Quality and Safety
  • Follow company and industry safety procedures when working with pressurized hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly handle tools and equipment.
  • Ensure all work performed meets company quality standards and operational requirements.

• TESDA certificate or equivalent
• With pre-employment medica
