Job Vacancy: Scaffolder

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Scaffolder to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures at various job sites, ensuring all platforms are safe and stable for workers and materials. This physically demanding position requires strong technical knowledge of scaffolding systems, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to adapt to dynamic construction environments.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven scaffolding experience in construction or industrial environments
- Valid scaffolding certification (e.g., CISRS, OSHA, SAIA), or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems (tube & clamp, system scaffold, frame scaffold, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scaffold plans
- Excellent balance, physical strength, and coordination
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to identify potential hazards
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between job sites
Responsibilities:
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems according to safety regulations and project plans
- Load, unload, and transport scaffolding materials to assigned locations
- Secure scaffolding to structures using correct fittings, tie-offs, and anchoring techniques
- Inspect scaffold components for damage or wear and report issues promptly
- Ensure scaffolding is level, properly braced, and safe before use
- Modify scaffolding setups as project needs evolve
- Keep scaffolding materials and work areas organized and clean
- Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors, safety officers, and other trades
