Asphalt & Concrete Plant Operator

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in asphalt/concrete plant or similar industrial plant operations
  • At least 1 year of post-secondary education (college, technical, or vocational)
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs
  • Knowledge of industrial plant operations, machinery, and material handling
  • Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Operate asphalt or concrete plant machinery according to safety and production standards
  • Perform routine plant maintenance, including shoveling, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs
  • Oversee unloading and supply of raw materials to the plant
  • Monitor plant operations to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with supervisors for repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and material usage
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
