AUTO ELECTRICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
- Good understanding of vehicle electrical wiring and circuits, batteries, alternators, and starter motor operations, basic electronic control systems in vehicles
- Ability to use diagnostic scanners and multi meters, electrical diagrams and repair manuals.
- Capable of: Identifying and fixing basic electrical faults, reading wiring diagrams and following repair procedures, working under supervision and meeting job deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in light and heavy vehicles
- Install and maintain wiring, lighting systems, and electronic control units (ECUs)
- Use diagnostic tools and scanners to identify issues with sensors and control modules
- Install accessories like GPS systems, reverse cameras, alarms, and parking sensors
- Calibrate and reset electronic modules (e.g., airbag, ABS, ECM)
