GRINDER

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of quality control and defect identification
  • Ability to use hand tools and sanding/grinding equipment safely and effectively
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail and Physically fit; able to lift, hold, and inspect heavy castings
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment
  • Able to work in a loud, dusty, and industrial environment and Team player with good communication skills.
  • Candidates must have a passports.
  • Candidate must know how to communicate in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives the newly cast brake part or component
  • Holds the casting manually for close inspection and handling
    Sands down bumps, sharp edges, or surface imperfections using hand tools or equipment
  • Visually inspects the part to ensure it is straight and meets quality standards
  • Determines if the part is OK (approved) or SCAP (scrap/defective)
  • Sorts and places each part into the appropriate marked box based on the inspection result
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in the work area and Reports any recurring defects or abnormalities to the supervisor or quality control team
