WELDER (FRP/RTR)
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as WELDER FRP/RTR
- Familiarity with resin systems (polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy) and fiberglass materials.
- Knowledge of relevant welding and lamination standards and practices.
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
- TESDA Cert in FRP welding or lamination techniques (required WELDER, NC2 CERT).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and join FRP or RTR pipes and fittings using hand lay-up, filament winding, or butt-and-wrap techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, quality standards, and applicable codes (e.g., ASTM, ISO, ASME RTP-1).
- Perform surface preparation and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion and bonding.
- Mix and apply resin systems, catalysts, and fiberglass reinforcements accurately.
- Conduct lamination, patching, and repair of FRP or RTR structures as required.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Inspect completed welds and joints for defects, strength, and alignment.
