SENIOR COMMIS

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Excellent English communication skill and can work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good experience to be a Senior Commis
• Senior Commis, also known as a Commis Chef, is a junior-level kitchen staff member.
• Basic Culinary Knowledge: Understanding of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Organizational Skills: Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
• Teamwork: Working effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Communication Skills: Following instructions and communicating needs to supervisors.
• Physical Stamina: Standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assists more experienced chefs in preparing and cooking meals.
• Typically responsible for basic food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining the kitchen, while also learning culinary techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Assisting Chefs: Working alongside Chef de Partie and other senior chefs, following their instructions and supporting them in the kitchen.
