SR. QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management; MRICS, AIQS, or similar certifications are a plus.
• 8–10 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, or commercial management.
• Preferably experienced in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or large-scale projects.
• Proficient in cost estimation and contract management software (e.g., CCS Candy, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, local construction laws, procurement rules, and advanced Excel cost analysis

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and manage project budgets.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement reviews, and tender evaluations.
• Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and implement cost controls.
• Manage valuations, payment applications, and subcontractor certifications.
• Assess variations, handle claims, and support dispute resolutions.
• Provide regular cost reports, maintain documentation, and deliver financial insights.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and mentor junior QS staff.
