Process Welder-I

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a welder, specializing in GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (Stick) welding processes in industrial environments, particularly in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation sectors
• Hands-on experience with welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials commonly used in construction, pipeline, and plant maintenance
• High School Diploma or equivalent with a focus on science or mechanical-related subjects, GTAW Certification (TIG Welding) and SMAW
• Certification (Stick Welding), typically from a recognized welding certification body
  (e.g., AWS – American Welding Society, CSWIP – Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel, or equivalent)
• Welding Procedure Qualification Record (WPQR) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT), where applicable
• Proven experience in performing root, fill, and cap passes using GTAW and SMAW processes on various thicknesses of materials

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues,
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely
• Holder of a valid driving license and must have MITD Certificate,
