Electric Vehicle Technician

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are prepared
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, service and repair high voltage Electric Vehicles (EV) and commercial charging stations.
  • Must have extensive & expert knowledge of how lithium-ion batteries and automotive systems interact.
  • Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and service electrical charging infrastructure using skills and tools that range from computer diagnostics
  • Understanding of EV systems including e-machines; Inverters; Batteries; Battery management systems; DC Vehicle Charging etc.
  • Perform required preventative maintenance activities on vehicles systems and carry out workshop tests on engine drive, battery pack and BMS, communication systems and embedded systems.
  • Experienced of working on Full Electric Vehicles, especially working with hazardous voltage drive and battery systems.
  • Must be qualified to work on electrical systems which could include dealer service training or independent training provider or accredited course.
  • IVQ/NVQ Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent Qualification to work on hazardous voltage
