Asphalt Paving Worker
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Proven experience in asphalt paving or general construction work.
- Knowledge of paving processes, materials, and equipment used in asphalt applications.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to operate or assist with various equipment, including rollers and paving machines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure smooth and even asphalt application.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks on the job site as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and setup of the asphalt paving machine and equipment.
- Spread, level, and smooth asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces using hand tools or machinery.
- Ensure asphalt is applied evenly and at the correct thickness for smooth, durable surfaces.
- Monitor the asphalt temperature to ensure proper consistency for compaction and application.
- Ensure the work area is clean and free of debris to maintain safety standards.
- Inspect the finished surface for quality, addressing any defects or imperfections.
