Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Proven experience as a formwork worker or concrete worker, with knowledge of formwork construction and concrete pouring techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork materials such as wood, metal, or plastic..
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure formwork is secure and concrete is poured accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques or equipment as required.
Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and remove formwork for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, and slabs.
- Measure and cut materials like wood, metal, or plastic to create accurate molds for pouring concrete.
- Ensure form work is properly aligned, secure, and meets design specifications.
- Assist in the mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete to ensure smooth, durable surfaces.
- Monitor the curing process of concrete to ensure it sets properly.
- Maintain and clean formwork equipment and tools after use.
