Shop Labourer/Sales Lady

Qualifications:

  • For Female only
  • 45 years old
  • Minimum of 2 years experience on Retail Industry
  • Experience working in a bookstore is a plus.
  • Must have work experience in BOOK STORE AND TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality of merchandise or services sought for purchase or rendered.
  • Advice customers’ information on use and care of merchandise.
  • Provide advice concerning specialized products or services.
  • Prepares merchandise for purchase
  • Requests for needed and out- of- stock merchandise course thru the Cashier/SICs
  • Interact with the walk-in customers and provide them with the merchandise of their choice
  • Assist the customers to make their purchases
  • Answer their queries regarding availability of books, book reviews, new launches, price, etc
  • Categorize books into several section of children’s special, fiction, non-fiction, autobiography, etc and organize them well on the shelves
  • Ensure the store premises is kept clean at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
  • Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
  • 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
