Painter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Must have completed high school as a minimum, preferably some tertiary education.
• Candidate should be physically fit and strong and have experience and qualifications in painting.
• Preferably with experience in epoxy, blasting, cleaning and grinding
• Complete documents – COE, Diploma, Passport and Certificates

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting surfaces to determine the nature and extent of repairs needed before the application of resin or epoxy
• Preparing the floor surface by cleaning, grinding, or shot blasting to ensure proper adhesion of the epoxy or resin
• Mixing epoxy or resin materials according to the manufacturer’s specifications
• Applying epoxy or resin coatings using a variety of tools, including brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Ensuring the application process is done uniformly and smoothly
• Monitoring the drying and curing process to prevent defects
• Performing maintenance tasks on equipment and tools used in the application process
• Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Performing quality control checks to ensure the durability and overall quality of the applied flooring
