PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years work experience
• Experience in plastic production(injection).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate the production plan.
• Coordinate and negotiate with the production planner.
• Deliver the schedule to the supervisor/team leader.
• Receive and hand over shifts with the other shift engineer.
• Monitor the execution of processes under standard conditions.
• Review mold plans and priorities for operating these molds.
• Supervise machine setup and performance improvement.
• Review mold rates and ensure targets are met.
• Monitor optimal use of raw materials and compare outputs with inputs.
• Monitor and review the operating conditions of molds and machines, ensuring they are within acceptable limits.
• Analyze root causes of scrap and defects.
• Analyze data to identify contributing factors.
• Develop corrective actions to reduce defects and other scrap.
• Provide training on methods to reduce defects and scrap.
• Ensure mold and machine improvements to minimize defects and scrap.
• Analyze and improve workforce utilization using available resources.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding workforce support to cover shortages.
• Monitor and implement quality procedures and documentation.
• Lead the improvement process and procedures.
• Create operating instructions and templates for all procedures in the production process.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement corrective actions
