Stainless Steel Welder
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick welding)
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in metal fabrication and construction processes and Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity and Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
- Candidate must have passports.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate welding equipment to weld stainless steel components.
Prepare stainless steel surfaces by cleaning, cutting, or grinding before welding. - Perform TIG, MIG, or other welding techniques to join stainless steel materials.
- Select type and size of pipe required. Calculate, measure, cut, pipe to required shape using hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and must be able to perform stainless steel welding functions at an acceptable standard level.
- Fabrication and installation of various piping and tanks for equipment.
- Layout, position, align, and secure pipes and tanks prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers and rulers
