Our employer in Saudi Arabia is in need of the following position:
ESTIMATOR – CIVIL ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- With experience in metal steel manufacturing
- Familiar with steel profiles, steel grades, fixation accessories, surface finishing and all necessary
- Knowledgeable of estimating techniques and software (ms excel, nesting tools, cad, adobe softwares and ms word,etc.)
- Knowledge in autocad or other cad applications
Responsibilities:
- Finding out what the clients wants
- Gathering quotes from Sub-contractors and suppliers for accurate cost analysis
- Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions and calculating all the related cost of the work.
- Assessing the levels of risk on a project including site condition
- Analyzing client company data, material market price, exchange rates and prices to update costing standards
- Preparing and submitting quotations to the client
- Helping with bids for new contracts by participating to tendering quotation works
- Coordinating with the budgeting officer and site managers the stages of a project to make sure that cost are kept in line with forecast
- Support all activities in cost estimating and take a proactive approach towards improvements
- Making proper document registry filing for future references.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic Salary – 6,741 SAR
- Food Allowance – 500 SAR
- Free Accommodation
- Free Transportation
- Working Hours – 10 hours /Day (8 hours basic + 2 hours Fixed Overtime)
