Workshop Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Soft skills training in addition to technical training in the field of vehicles and heavy equipment
• Advanced written and spoken English and Arabic

Responsibilities:

• Receiving repair requests from client and arranging inspection and repair as required.
• To ensure that all faults on equipment for repair are correctly inspected, diagnosed and subsequent repairs are carried out to a high standard of quality expected by our principals and customer alike.
• Supervises and follows up on actual progress of each individual repair job.
• Orders spare parts for specific jobs/special job or for stocks.
• Follows up work orders, registering the time taken to complete each task.
• Minimizes the cost and time of repairs.
• Responsible of applying HSEQ standard in workshop area.
• Ensures that the Workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times and is a safe working environment for people working.
• To ensure that quotations are submitted to clients in time and that they are correct.
• Assess staff training requirements to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills to perform given tasks so as to gain maximum productivity.
• Participate in setting department budget and work within allocated expenses by controlling costs to minimize expenditure.
• Ensure the safety of his subordinates and ensure their compliance with established safety policies, procedures and practices.
• To follow company policies and procedures in all work related activities
