Qualifications

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Proven experience as a Chef Sous or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for food and cooking.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef: Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, develop new recipes, and create innovative dishes that meet customer expectations and reflect seasonal availability.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. Provide constructive feedback and support to encourage professional growth.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximize profitability while minimizing waste. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the culinary team, as well as front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth coordination of operations and exceptional customer service.
• Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Enforce kitchen policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and company protocols. Lead by example and promote a positive work environment.
