Safety Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Ergonomics, Environmental engineering, or other related engineering/technical discipline
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills specializing in port, pier, and wharf construction projects.
• Involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and commissioning
• Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with berthing

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project management team in developing and executing site specific safety programs and activities
  documents and track all safety violations, unsafe conditions, conduct work area safety audits
• Gain Knowledge of the Company Safety and Health Program and applicable regulatory standards
• Manage safety and health activities for the client group
• Assisting the client group in the maintenance of safety and health requirements and serving as the primary source of advice and counseling to the client group safety and health issue
