TEACHER – SPECIAL EDUCATION

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years work experience
• Currently teaching elementary or high school in a classroom setting

Job Description:

• To teach SPED in a public school in the US.
• Grade level will be elementary, middle school or high school.
• Must be ready to travel by July 2024.

Eligibility:

All We Dare To Teach applicants must:

• Possess qualifications suitable for teaching at either the primary or secondary school levels in their home country (including pre-kindergarten).
• Have a degree equivalent to a 4-year U.S. bachelor’s degree in Education or the academic subject they are intending to teach.
• Have a minimum of two years of teaching or relevant professional experience,
• Fulfill the teaching requirements of the state in the U.S. they will be teaching,
• Prove their good reputation and character (Background check)
• Agree to come to the U.S. as a full-time teacher of record in an accredited primary or secondary school.
• Be proficient in English (assessed through an interview), and be currently employed as a teacher at the time of application.
• Applicants NOT working as a teacher must have the same qualifications as those stated above, with two years of full-time teaching experience within the last eight years and a completed advanced degree (in Education or in the academic area they are intending to teach) within 12 months of their application submission date, with a completed Credential Evaluation done on all Foreign Credentials (FCE) prior to interviewing with host school
