FIELD SURVEYOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years work experience
• Experience using hand surveying tools (distance measuring wheels, plumb bobs, levels) and electronic surveying tools (transit levels, GPS equipment).
• Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.

Responsibilities: 

• Working in diverse sectors, such as construction, property, cartography (maps), offshore engineering and exploration.
• Producing maps using GPS, surveying instruments, digital images and satellite photographs Analyzing data using geographic information systems (GIS) and drawing charts using computer-aided design (CAD).
• Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g., longitudes, latitudes).
• Reading and interpreting drawings and topographic maps.
• Use measurements of surveying equipment to determine property lines and boundaries.
• Conduct Raw land Boundary Surveys, Reference Point Lay-out/Stakeout Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-built Surveys, Construction Checking Surveys and Process Field Data using Engineering and Surveying Software’s.
• Analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
• Researching and consulting historical maps and surveys, as well as legal documents, relating to the property or section of land they are measuring.

Documents Required:

• Diploma/TOR
• Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
• Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
• 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
