Trenkwalder (EGE) is seeking experienced MIG/TIG Welders to join its manufacturing and industrial production team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG and TIG welding on metal components and assemblies while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, welding procedures, and quality standards. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Welder (MIG/TIG)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants, 25–40 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG/TIG welding.
- Must possess a valid MIG/TIG welding certification or license.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
- Experience welding various metals in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, joint preparation, welding symbols, and quality control standards.
- Skilled in the safe operation of welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and in good health, capable of working in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal components according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, cleaning, and positioning components prior to welding.
- Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment and adjust machine settings based on material type and thickness.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with welding standards, performing repairs when necessary.
- Use measuring tools and welding gauges to verify dimensions and weld quality.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper operation.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors, inspectors, and production personnel to meet quality and production targets.
- Perform other welding and fabrication duties as assigned.
