Tile & Marble Fixer

Qualifications:

• Ability to skillfully apply tiles and marbles to a variety of surfaces
• Thorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools involved in the process
• Ability to make reasonable estimates of sizes, distance and quantities
• Ability to identify the materials, resources, and costs and time needed to complete the works.
• Experience in marble and granite mechanical cladding systems, an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for applying hard tile, marble and wood tile to surfaces such as walls, floors, ceilings and roof decks.
• Implements the layout necessary to achieve a desire pattern or design
• Measures and marks surfaces to be tiled and contracts underbeds and sets anchor bolts, woies and brackets
• Mixes, applies, and spreads plaster, concrete, mortar, cement mastic, glue or other adhesive to apply, seal, and finish tile and marble flooring, counters, or walls
• Uses levels, squares, straightedges, and hand or power cutting tools to complete jobs
• Ensures masonry materials are properly aligned and straightened
• Cuts and shapes tiles as needed, making precision cuts to fit around objects and into abnormal spaces and corners
• Levels concrete and ensures that proper dry time is followed
• Finishes, dresses and cleans joints and grout and performs other related duties as assigned

• Must have valid passport
