TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICIAN)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or similar fields.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, control panels, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to equipment safety and reliability.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on industrial maintenance work.
• Willing to be assigned in Kuwait.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and industrial systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments and diagnostic procedures.
• Inspect electrical wiring, cables, connections, switches, control panels, motors, and other electrical components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
• Install, repair, replace, and maintain electrical components and equipment as required.
• Test electrical circuits, connections, motors, controls, and other equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in identifying the causes of electrical and equipment failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspection of motors, control systems, sensors, switches, and related industrial components.
• Ensure electrical connections and components are properly installed, secured, and maintained.
• Use electrical hand tools, testing equipment, measuring instruments, and workshop tools safely and correctly.
• Record maintenance activities, inspection findings, repairs, and test results accurately.
• Coordinate with mechanical technicians, engineers, production personnel, and supervisors during maintenance activities.
• Assist in minimizing equipment downtime by responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, spare parts, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow company maintenance schedules, technical procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Observe electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and appropriate PPE practices.
• Report electrical hazards, defective components, equipment abnormalities, and major repair requirements to the supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to equipment reliability, electrical safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform other electrical, technical, and maintenance duties as assigned.
