Support Worker/On-Call Cleaner

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning, residential cleaning, hotel cleaning, or similar work is an advantage.
• Familiarity with basic cleaning, general cleaning, and deep cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
• Experience using cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and vacuum cleaners.
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Able to work independently and as part of a cleaning team.
• Willing to perform on-call or flexible cleaning assignments when required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned residential or household areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hygienic, and safe environment.
• Perform basic, general, and deep-cleaning activities as required.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and other household surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other designated spaces.
• Remove dust, dirt, stains, and other contaminants from household surfaces.
• Perform deep cleaning of areas requiring additional attention.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers safely and correctly.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals, detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning materials according to instructions.
• Properly measure, handle, store, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Clean and maintain household fixtures, furniture, appliances, and other designated areas.
• Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained after use.
• Identify damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Respond to on-call cleaning assignments and perform duties efficiently within the required timeframe.
• Assist with other reasonable household-support and cleaning duties as assigned.
