SUPERVISOR (SITE ENGINEER)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication); Engineering (Electrical/Electronic); Engineering (Others) or similar fields.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Proven experience in ELV, AV, CCTV, access control, networking, or structured cabling installations.
  • Strong knowledge of reading shop drawings, installation plans, and technical documentation.
  • Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site supervision skills.
  • Able to work on-site, manage multiple activities, and meet project deadlines and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute on-site ELV and AV installation works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved plans, and schedules.
  • Oversee the installation of CCTV, access control, AV systems, LED screens, structured cabling, and networking systems.
  • Ensure all installation activities follow approved shop drawings, method statements, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor daily site progress, conduct inspections and quality checks, and report updates to the Project Manager.
  • Monitor materials, deliveries, and usage while ensuring proper cable management, labeling, and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve technical or site issues and assist with system testing, commissioning, and final handover.

Employer Overview:

Al Boraq Automobiles Company is fully owned and registered in the Qatari Chamber of Commerce under the name of: Salman J. Al Darwish. Official operation started on 1st October 2005 and 1st unit delivered on 5th November 2005. The construction of the workshop started on 1st of August 2005 and 1st vehicle was received for repairs on 1st of October 2005, only two months later. Workshop facility was completed December 2005. The official inauguration of Showroom and Workshop by Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking took place on 14th of March 2006. Launch of the company and the new Cayman S on December 2006. Qatar Record sales of 347 units on the 1st year of operation. Inauguration of Quick Service Centre in January 2009.
