SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the food retail, food service, restaurant, or equivalent industry.
• Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or a similar field.
• Proven track record of achieving performance targets and profit responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of FOH and BOH operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, security, workplace safety, and operational standards.
• Strong understanding of food cost and labor cost management.
• Strong leadership, team management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to develop action plans and implement operational improvements.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing business trends, market conditions, and operational requirements.
• Customer-focused, organized, responsible, and results-oriented.
• Able to remain standing and physically active for an 8–12 hour shift.
• Able to tolerate exposure to hot temperatures in a food-service working environment.
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced food retail or service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations.
• Ensure smooth, efficient, and organized operations throughout each shift.
• Supervise employees and ensure that assigned duties and responsibilities are properly carried out.
• Run effective shifts while maintaining high standards of service, productivity, and teamwork.
• Build and maintain a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, health, security, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor compliance with company operating procedures, policies, and service standards.
• Develop and implement action plans to address operational issues and improve performance standards.
• Monitor the condition and proper operation of restaurant or food-service equipment.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and promptly report equipment problems or breakdowns.
• Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of FOH, BOH, storage, and work areas.
• Monitor food preparation, service, and other operational processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage food costs and work toward achieving established food cost targets.
• Monitor labor utilization and ensure staffing levels are appropriate for business requirements.
• Support the achievement of financial targets, profitability goals, and overall business performance.
• Monitor sales, productivity, costs, and operational results and take corrective action when necessary.
• Adapt quickly to changing business trends, market conditions, customer demands, and environmental factors.
• Modify operational plans and priorities as necessary to meet business targets.
• Monitor customer service and address customer concerns or operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Train, coach, guide, and motivate team members to improve performance and service quality.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational priorities clearly to employees.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, discipline, and compliance with company standards.
• Prepare or maintain operational, inventory, sales, labor, and other required reports.
• Coordinate with management regarding operational concerns, staffing requirements, maintenance, and business performance.
• Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and productive working environment.
• Perform other supervisory and operational duties assigned by management.
