Sugar Paste Worker

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have passports
• Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
• Strong skills in decorating techniques and an understanding of various sugar paste applications are essential.
• Creativity and a good eye for detail are important for designing and executing decorative elements.
• Ability to stay updated on current trends and techniques in cake decorating to offer innovative designs.
• Good organizational skills are required to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mix sugar paste ingredients to achieve the desired consistency and quality for decorating baked goods.
• Roll, cut, and shape sugar paste to create decorative elements such as flowers, figurines, and patterns for cakes and pastries.
• Apply sugar paste decorations to cakes and other baked goods, ensuring smooth finishes and accurate placement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Monitor and adjust sugar paste consistency as needed to suit different decoration techniques and designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with sugar paste, such as cracking or drying, to maintain high-quality decorations.
