Straddle Carrier Maintenance Technicians

Qualifications:

• Preferred male  applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience

Job Description:

• Executes preventative and corrective maintenance procedures and schedules in conformance with engineering standards and codes and the relevant statutory regulations
• Tests equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards and identifies components to be overhauled
• Participates in the analysis/research of the performance of electrical systems and other components and recommends modifications where necessary to improve efficiency
• Executes disaster contingency plans and participates in securing all equipment in the event of impending natural disasters such as hurricanes or storms
• Experience working with PLC systems knowledge of relevant mechanical/pneumatic/electronic engineering systems which include hydraulic / pneumatic / electrical circuits, PLC and fault diagnostics systems; combustion / diesel engines, power transmission hydraulic;
• Working knowledge of techniques and methods employed in the maintenance of equipment and machines on the Terminal, including Straddle Carriers
