Power Distribution Technician High Voltage

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
• With valid passport atleast 1 year above

Responsibilities:

• Prepares plans, specifications and cost estimates for the construction and repair of overhead and
  underground electric power transmission, distribution and street light systems.
• Processes incoming requests for electric service; researches and determines electrical requirements for service to residential and commercial developments.
• Coordinates electric utility construction with contractors, developers and other agencies; obtains
  easements and rights-of-ways; administers joint pole agreements and maintains joint pole records.
• Determines the effects of proposed work on existing electric utility facilities and the feasibility of alternate construction proposals.
• Assists in field coordination, field surveys, transformer load surveys and development plan checking.
• Performs construction inspection of underground and overhead facilities, and locates and marks underground systems.
