STEEL FIXER

Qualifications:

• Skilled in reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings (rebar layout plans) and construction specifications.
• Hands-on experience cutting, bending, and shaping steel reinforcement bars using manual tools or machinery.
• Knowledge of fabricating reinforcement structures, including cages, stirrups, and curved bars, according to approved drawings.
• Experience installing and positioning steel reinforcement for footings, slabs, beams, columns, and walls.
• Proficient in tying and securing rebars using binding wire to ensure stability and proper alignment.
• Knowledge of installing spacers to maintain the required concrete cover for reinforcement.
• Ability to verify rebar quantity, diameter, spacing, and positioning based on approved construction drawings before concrete pouring.
• Ability to coordinate and work effectively with formwork technicians, concrete workers, and supervising engineers.
• Knowledge of construction-site safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Physically fit, detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a construction team.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings, rebar layout plans, and construction specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars using appropriate hand tools and machinery.
• Fabricate reinforcement structures, including cages, stirrups, and curved bars, according to approved drawings.
• Install and position steel reinforcement for footings, slabs, beams, columns, walls, and other structural elements.
• Tie and secure rebars using binding wire to maintain stability, alignment, and spacing.
• Install spacers and other supports to maintain the required concrete cover over reinforcement.
• Check rebar quantities, diameters, spacing, and positioning against approved construction drawings.
• Inspect reinforcement installations and correct discrepancies before concrete pouring.
• Coordinate with formwork technicians, concrete workers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure construction requirements are met.
• Handle and position steel reinforcement materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow construction-site safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work independently or as part of a construction team to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Salary Package:

• Salary is € 775 net monthly more or less.
• Forty(45) Work Hours/5days per week.
• 1 year contract, renewable.
