Job Location: Taiwan
Wang Bang Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking dedicated Site Engineers to join its construction team in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to approved plans, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to work closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
SITE ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, College Degree, or Vocational qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or other related engineering disciplines.
- Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply (requirements may vary depending on the assigned position).
- Proficient in English and Chinese; knowledge of Taiwanese is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and site management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with engineering and project management software is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, quality, and compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation.
- Monitor project progress and report site accomplishments, issues, and potential delays to project management.
- Assist in planning manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to support construction activities.
- Ensure construction materials and installations comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare daily site reports, inspection records, progress reports, and other project documentation.
- Identify site issues and recommend practical engineering solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Promote compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and Taiwan construction regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support throughout all phases of construction.
- Perform other engineering and site coordination duties assigned by management.
