Kosan Infinity Co. Ltd. is seeking experienced and highly skilled Shipbuilding Welders for deployment to Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, grinding, and structural assembly works related to shipbuilding operations while ensuring quality, precision, and compliance with safety standards.

Shipbuilding Welder

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least a High School graduate.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in shipbuilding welding operations.
• Experience in setting up shipbuilding blocks and structural assembly works.
• Skilled in welding works related to shipbuilding and marine structures.
• Experience in grinding works for shipbuilding applications.
• Ex-Japan workers with complete certificates are preferred.
• Must possess NK Skill Test certification.
• Must have Special Education for Arc Welding certification.
• Must have Gas Welding Skills Training certification.
• Must have Special Education for Free Grinding certification.
• Ability to read and interpret shipbuilding drawings and welding specifications.
• Physically fit and capable of working in shipyard environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding works for shipbuilding structures and marine components.
• Set up and assemble shipbuilding blocks according to project specifications and technical drawings.
• Conduct grinding and finishing works to ensure proper weld quality and surface preparation.
• Operate welding and grinding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure welding works comply with shipbuilding quality standards and safety regulations.
• Inspect welded joints and structural components for defects and required corrections.
• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams regarding fabrication and assembly schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper use of protective equipment at all times.
• Assist in shipyard production activities and other related duties as assigned.
