DAEWOO E&C CO., LTD. is seeking experienced and skilled Plant Auto Electricians for deployment to Mozambique. The successful candidate will perform electrical diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment and plant machinery within Oil & Gas industry operations.

Plant Auto Electrician

Qualifications:

  • Must possess experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Must hold a valid third-party ID/certificate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and NCII certification.
  • Candidates must be aged between 30 and 50 years old.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for heavy equipment and plant machinery.
  • Experience in repairing wiring systems, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and technical skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and site environments.
  • Ability to follow workplace safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems of heavy equipment and plant machinery.
  • Inspect wiring, electrical circuits, batteries, alternators, starters, and control systems for faults and damage.
  • Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on construction and industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals accurately.
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with safety standards and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams regarding equipment repairs and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools and testing equipment.
  • Report major electrical faults, hazards, and operational issues to management immediately.
