SENIOR ALUMINUM DESIGNER / TEAM LEADER

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experienced for facade / windows environments; experience
  will also be considered provided you are familiar with European
  System.
  Demonstrated understanding of products, design and production
  processes within cladding, curtain wall, doors and windows.
  Experienced and competent with AutoCAD 2D & 3D
  Experienced with the design and documentation of aluminum, glass,
  steel and composite panels.
  A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines with minimum
  supervision.
  Well organized with a high attention to detail.
  Ability to work cohesively with other design member and Project
  Managers.

Job Description:

• Participate and actively contribute to design workshop, where curtain wall solutions are explored and determined.
• Obtain all information related to the project from external and internal sources in order to produce clear and accurate plans, elevation, section and shop drawings.
• Make sure that shop drawings are drawn in accordance with Architectural/Structural requirements and in line with approved BOQ.
• Prepare of shop drawings, aluminum, glass, steel and alum fabrication drawings.
• Composite panel according to the tender drawing and site measurements.
• Prepare material take-off and ordering materials indicating technical specifications as approved.
• Check all outstanding drawings and make changes according to the consultant’s comments.
• Coordinate with factory managers and project managers for the priority of units as well as to accelerate work.
• Sufficient study to survey the site, site visits and take site measurements if necessary to solve technical problems at the site during installation.
• Coordinate with consultant, architect, main contractor, etc. for various project-related communications.
