Changwon Corporation Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Safety Officer (NEBOSH, OSHA) to oversee workplace health and safety practices for electrical construction projects in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, relevant safety certifications, and proven experience in Electrical Construction projects.
SAFETY OFFICER (NEBOSH, OSHA)
Qualifications:
- Must have a VALID TRC.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the same position as a Safety Officer.
- Proven experience in Electrical Construction projects.
- Must possess relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH and OSHA.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and accident prevention.
- Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, and safety training.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and electrical work hazards.
- Ability to prepare safety reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs on construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
- Monitor electrical construction activities and ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions for workers and site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and workers to improve site safety performance.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.
