Refrigeration Technician

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Job Description

• Processing and completing work orders.
• Ordering equipment supplies, repair modules, and sundries for the order.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Installing climate control systems, refrigeration units, and beverage equipment
• Observing and testing newly installed systems.
• Troubleshooting refrigeration equipment failures.
• Replacing worn seals, outer shells, and worn-out motors.
• Informing clients of repair costs and alternate cooling options

Awal Refrigeration & Air-conditioning was established in 1963 by Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Khalid Alkhaja. It is a well established business organization in Kingdom of Bahrain involved in HVAC contracting, manufacturing and supplying commercial kitchen and laundry equipments, MEP contracting, marketing and distribution.

The company started as workshop in the 1960’s for maintenance services and with Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Khalid Alkhaja’s vision and foresight, the small workshop has now blossomed into Awal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning workshop at Mina Salman & Sitra.

With the support of his children, it has grown into a group of companies offering civil, electrical, mechanical contracting services as well as manufacturing of kitchen and laundry equipments, water heaters, water coolers, cold room panels, coils & air conditioning units, air conditioners, architectural stainless steel products, garbage & linen chutes etc.

The company also exports and embarks on projects outside Bahrain. Being a pioneer in MEP Building Services, the company also started manufacturing garbage chutes and lines chutes.

The employees have a wide experience in the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of complete mechanical engineering systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and drainage, fire fighting and other piping system works as well as specialized custom works
