PURCHASING REPRESENTATIVE

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure products or services from vendors or suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate terms and pricing agreements.
• Prepare purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments, such as procurement, inventory, and finance, to ensure timely delivery and payment.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues or concerns as needed.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and products.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements
