Process Optimization Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in process optimization, chemical engineering, or operations within a manufacturing or industrial plant.
• Experience in process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in process simulation and optimization software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, or MATLAB.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and process monitoring techniques.
• Soda ash industry experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve process-related issues, including equipment failures, product quality deviations, and operational inefficiencies.
• Support the design and implementation of new processes, technologies, and automation systems to improve plant performance.
• Develop and implement process monitoring systems to continuously track and evaluate plant performance.
• Analyze operational data and recommend process adjustments to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Lead and support process improvement projects, ensuring completion within approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure process changes and optimization activities comply with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical training and guidance to plant operators and engineering teams on process optimization techniques and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve product quality, and optimize production processes.
