PLUMBER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Plumber; previous GCC experience is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of working experience is required according to the stated job qualification.
  • Must have practical and technical knowledge of piping systems.
  • Must have a two-year technical plumbing degree or accredited plumbing training.
  • Must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Must have good knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, fittings, and installation and repair procedures.
  • Must be physically capable of performing plumbing and maintenance work.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, inspect, and repair plumbing systems and piping networks.
  • Perform plumbing work involving water supply, drainage, wastewater, and other piping systems.
  • Read and interpret basic plumbing plans, diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing components.
  • Identify and repair leaks, blockages, damaged pipes, faulty fixtures, and other plumbing problems.
  • Conduct inspections and basic testing of plumbing and piping systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Use plumbing hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and properly.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and applicable plumbing standards.
  • Report major plumbing issues, material requirements, and maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
  • Perform other plumbing and maintenance duties as assigned.
