NURSING SPECIALIST
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in nursing or a related clinical healthcare setting.
- Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Nursing or a similar field.
- Must have a valid PRC Nursing License.
- Previous clinical or hospital experience is an advantage.
- Experience in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, triage, medication administration, and basic nursing procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in wound care, specimen collection, and preparation of patients for diagnostic procedures.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, sterilization, biomedical waste management, and clinical safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and patient-care skills.
- Able to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate, responsible, reliable, and committed to providing safe and professional patient care.
- Physically and mentally prepared to work in a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial nursing assessments of walk-in and scheduled patients.
- Take and accurately record patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and other required measurements.
- Obtain and document relevant patient medical histories and current health information.
- Perform initial triage and identify patients requiring immediate medical attention.
- Administer prescribed oral and injectable medications safely and accurately.
- Verify medication orders, dosages, routes, and patient information before administration.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other basic nursing procedures according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during minor medical procedures and examinations.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic examinations, laboratory tests, and other medical procedures.
- Collect and properly handle specimen samples according to established procedures.
- Record and document laboratory or diagnostic test results as required.
- Monitor patients during and after treatments and report changes in their condition to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date electronic or paper patient records.
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, medications, treatments, and patient responses appropriately.
- Maintain examination and treatment rooms in a clean, organized, and hygienic condition.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to infection control procedures.
- Properly segregate, handle, and dispose of biomedical and clinical waste according to safety standards.
- Follow infection prevention and control policies, including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure nursing supplies, medical equipment, medications, and clinical materials are adequately available.
- Check medical equipment for proper operation and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Provide patients with basic health information and instructions as directed by physicians and clinical protocols.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and professional standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, laboratory personnel, administrative staff, patients, and their families.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and assist with emergency care within the scope of nursing practice.
- Follow clinic policies, professional nursing standards, workplace safety procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Perform other nursing and clinical duties assigned by management.
