Nurse

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Experience in surgical nursing and bedside patient care is required.
• NMBI Decision Letter or Eligibility to Register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is required.
• OET passer or planning to take the examination (minimum 3 B grades and 1 C+ grade) or IELTS Academic passer or planning to take the examination (minimum three 7.0 bands and one 6.5 band).
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and perform effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Compassionate, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical standards and best practices.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ health conditions, vital signs, and treatment progress.
• Deliver bedside nursing care, ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Assist physicians and surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures when required.
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly to emergencies or complications.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, recovery, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical governance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with ethical, legal, and professional nursing standards.
• Perform other nursing duties assigned by the employer.
