NAIL TECHNICIAN / HAIRDRESSER

Qualifications:

• Female applicants only, as specified by the employer.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
• Previous experience as a Nail Technician, Hairdresser, Beautician, or similar salon professional is preferred.
• Basic knowledge and practical skills in both nail care and hairdressing services.
• Skilled in basic manicure, pedicure, nail preparation, polishing, and related nail care procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hair cutting, washing, blow-drying, styling, and hair care techniques.
• Good understanding of salon hygiene, sanitation, tool disinfection, and safe handling of beauty products.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, patient, professional, and attentive to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing quality beauty services.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods while performing salon services.
• Reliable, hardworking, well-groomed, and committed to maintaining professional salon standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nail care and hairdressing services according to clients’ preferences and salon standards.
• Perform basic manicure and pedicure services, including nail cleaning, shaping, trimming, cuticle care, and polishing.
• Apply nail polish, gel polish, and other appropriate nail products as required.
• Prepare clients’ nails and ensure proper finishing and presentation.
• Perform basic hair services such as hair washing, blow-drying, styling, trimming, and other services within the scope of training and experience.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferred hairstyles, nail designs, colors, and beauty requirements.
• Recommend suitable hair and nail care services and products based on clients’ needs.
• Ensure clients are comfortable and satisfied throughout their salon service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hygienic workstations before, during, and after each client appointment.
• Properly clean, disinfect, and sanitize nail and hairdressing tools and equipment after each use.
• Safely handle nail products, hair products, chemicals, and other salon materials according to established procedures.
• Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the salon.
• Monitor salon supplies, including nail products, hair products, tools, and accessories, and report shortages to management.
• Handle salon equipment carefully and report damaged or malfunctioning tools and equipment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when dealing with clients and coworkers.
• Follow salon policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable hygiene procedures.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the salon and customer areas.
• Perform other nail care, hairdressing, beauty service, and salon support duties assigned by management.
