NAIL TECHNICIAN EXPERT

Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Skilled in manicure, pedicure, and gel polish application and removal.
• Knowledgeable in nail hygiene and sanitation.
• Skilled in nail shaping, cuticle care, and buffing.
• Good hand skills, precision, and attention to detail.
• Vocational graduate.
• Preferably with NC II Nail Technician certification.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining professional-quality nail services.
• Responsible, hardworking, well-groomed, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional manicure and pedicure services according to salon standards.
• Apply, maintain, and remove gel polish safely and accurately.
• Shape and file fingernails and toenails according to the client’s preferred style.
• Perform proper cuticle care, including cleaning, trimming, and conditioning when appropriate.
• Buff and smooth nails to achieve a clean and polished finish.
• Prepare nails properly before applying polish, gel, or other nail products.
• Ensure even, neat, and professional application of nail polish and gel products.
• Remove gel polish and other nail products using appropriate techniques to minimize nail damage.
• Inspect nails for conditions that may require special care and advise clients when professional medical attention may be appropriate.
• Maintain strict nail hygiene and sanitation practices before, during, and after every service.
• Properly clean, disinfect, and store nail tools and equipment according to salon procedures.
• Keep the nail workstation clean, organized, and ready for client services.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of nail products, chemicals, and other salon supplies.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service and understand clients’ preferred nail styles.
• Recommend suitable nail care products and basic aftercare practices when appropriate.
• Monitor nail products and supplies and report items that require replenishment.
• Follow salon safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when dealing with clients and coworkers.
• Perform other nail care and salon duties assigned by management.
