Nail Care Specialist

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Care Specialist, Nail Technician, or similar role.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology certification is an advantage.
• Skilled in manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, gel polish, acrylic nails, and nail art.
• Knowledgeable in proper nail care, sanitation, sterilization, and infection control procedures.
• Familiar with the safe operation and maintenance of nail tools and salon equipment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Well-groomed, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality service.
• Able to recommend suitable nail care treatments and retail products based on client needs.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, gel polish, acrylic nails, and nail art services according to salon standards.
• Assess clients’ nail conditions and recommend appropriate nail care treatments, products, and maintenance plans.
• Prepare, clean, and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment before and after each client in accordance with salon hygiene and sterilization procedures.
• Ensure all nail care services are performed safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
• Apply creative nail designs and decorative nail art based on client preferences and current beauty trends.
• Educate clients on proper nail care, maintenance, and aftercare to promote healthy nails.
• Maintain accurate client records, service histories, and appointment schedules.
• Assist in promoting salon services, retail nail care products, and special promotions.
• Monitor inventory of nail products and supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming, friendly, and professional salon environment.
• Stay updated with the latest nail care techniques, products, equipment, and industry trends through continuous learning.
• Perform other beauty and salon-related duties assigned by the employer.
