MIG WELDER

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Able to read & understand WPS
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with welding symbols
• Ability to lift up to 35 Kg

Responsibilities:

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Fully aware of GMAW/FCAW complete process.
• Weld carbon steel & stainless steel according to blueprints.
• Reading and interpreting specifications and engineering blueprints accurately
• Operating cranes and other machinery for transporting materials to welding worksites.
• Determining correct gas ratios.
• Testing the strength of each joint during and after project completion.
• Liaising with the welding supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.
• Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
• Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures, applicable laws, rule and regulations, environment, health and safety regulations.
• To undertake any other duties as reasonably required by Welding Supervisor/Production Supervisor/Manager.
